I’m Skylar, a storyteller, reader, artist, and use-to-be PR exec. Here’s the very brief summary for today.

I used to make fun of gluten free people and now I am one. I never gave two thoughts to things like reality glitches or coincidences that aren't. I believed everything was random. Now I don't. You're not ready for my pink suitcase story  or my ramblings about the coincidences since 2023 (maybe sooner). Maybe someday.

I write everything from stories about my 2-year road trip towing a trailer around the US (alone), love stories (or not), my many travels, music I love, people that inspire me, books I've written including The Love it Takes, and my sci-fi that I'm putting here chapter by chapter tagged Elements (this should be interesting because I haven't finished it yet!). Most everything is true or only slightly exaggerated. Even the sci-fi has many true elements. All the locations, conferences and computer-related events are places I've been and things I've done.

I attend many music concerts current and in my past and I write about them.

My walls are covered in books I've read more than once and most are nonfiction. (Except for two fantasy romance novels I bought for a long airplane ride. I had no idea what I was getting into!).

You will find links to some of my artwork both old and new here and many things that I've turned into digital downloads—many are free on the Merch page. I create too many things to just let them sit in my hard drive.

I’ve only started this new site, I am condensing from multiple sites. So a LOT more is coming. Thank you for being here.
